The publication introduces the work of Sylvester Feodosievich Shchedrin (1791-1830) in the context of the School of Persillipo-a bright and significant phenomenon in the Italian art of the 1820s and 1930s. The scientific article discusses in detail the creative path of S. Shchedrin and determines its contribution to the development of the Russian and Italian picturesque landscape.
