The purpose of this collection is to introduce the reader to the main areas of research activity of their author, primarily with the interdisciplinary problem of tectonic imagery (as well as its special type, statue) in literature and art. The material analyzed in articles is mainly ancient texts. In addition, various texts of the New European literature are considered, while the work of Danish literature (L. Holberg, H.K. Andersen, Kai Munk), representing, in the view of the author of articles, of particular interest in the light of tectonic problems, were subjected to a particularly detailed analysis. The two articles of the collection are talking about the special ways of forming a creative personality of the Danish sculptor B. Torvaldsen.
A separate group is composed of articles on a special examination of aesthetic issues (about the artistic and stylistic side of such semiotic qualities as clarity and ambivalence, about irony, as well as about the problem of style choice in Christian art).
The collection is addressed to literary critics, art critics and all those who are occupied by the secrets of figurative expression in different fields of artistic creation
