The problem of education and training of preschool children with developmental disabilities is one of the most important and relevant. However, problematic is the issue of teachers" readiness for working with children of special care, which has its own characteristics and makes new requirements for the teacher. The modern teacher} "needs to know the features of the psychophysical development of children with various types of dysontogenesis, master new work technologies or change existing technologies in accordance with the tasks of pedagogical support of a special child. An important point is a change in the purpose of the educational process. Teaching a child with disabilities, including a disabled child, in a substantial and target aspects may differ from the teaching of a child with typical development. An important direction of the teacher’s work is the development of adapted educational programs, in a number of which priority is given to the child’s mastering with life competencies, in comparison with academic knowledge. This educational and methodological manual was developed in order to assist the teachers of the preschool education system in building such work in DOO. The presented materials are practical-oriented in nature, are aimed at the active development of the theoretical and practical foundations of the organization and the methodological support of the pedagogical support of children of special care.
