The publication is dedicated to the central phenomenon of the St. Petersburg avant -garde of 1910-1914 - the Society of the Society of the Youth Union, conceived as a total project consolidating young non -academic artists. The album of illustrations is preceded by four scientific articles, which examines the history of the "Union of Youth" and the participation of Moscow artists at exhibitions of this association, as well as the activities of one of the founders of the "Youth Union", Voldemar Matvey (Vladimir Markov) and theatrical experiments of the participants in this creative movement. It is supplemented by biographies of artists presented in the publication
