Society of Artists "Four Arts"

The emergence of the Society of Artists "Four Arts" is represented in monographs against the background of changes in the artistic life of Russia of the post -October era. Its creation and four exhibitions of the 1920s in Moscow and Leningrad became a phenomenon in the cultural life of a young country. The society united as prominent painters Pavel Kuznetsov, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Martiros Saryan, the graphs of Vladimir Favorsky, Alexei Kravchenko, the sculptors of Alexander Matveev, Vera Mukhin and other famous masters, and those whose names are forgotten today.
