In the monograph, a social novel is considered as a metagazan, an artistic type of statement that is absolutely free in choosing a form, but meaningfully focused on the reflection and assessment of socially significant positions of recognizable problems, conflicts and relations in society of a particular time. The author concludes that the works of A. Slapovsky are an analytical image of an artistic statement, including experimental forms of study of the behavior and spiritual life of a person and society in the circumstances of the ontological, public instability, moral disorganization, and dehumanization of society. Separately analyzes the psychologism of works in the evolutionary movement from socio-psychological to the social novel itself, while developing a constant topic of the ability to transform a person in the process of self-awareness, a test of authoritative concepts (from deification to psychoanalysis), and the transition to the role concept of behavior with the study of the degree of freedom and spiritual personality development.
