The “little tragedies" of Pushkin, written by him in 1830 in Boldino, are devoted to human passions - to those passions that absorb us entirely, subjugating all thoughts and feelings. Each main character is obsessed with such a passion - whether it is the acquisition of treasures, love, creativity or thirst for immortality. Each of them is a voluntary slave to his passion, which is not enough to subjugate her personal being - he wants to subjugate the world to her
