The book is devoted to the study of the English metric verse, mainly the dramatic white five -foot iambic of the English Renaissance (XVI? XVII centuries), as well as the attribution of plays and their parts - one of the most urgent problems in the study of the dramas of the early Renaissance. The reader is offered the results of a unique study of the author - a well -known Shakespeare and researcher of the English verse - in the field of linguistic and statistical analysis of English versions and individual author"s styles.
