This book completes the publication of “Selected Works in Six Tomas” by Leonid Mikhailovich Batkin. VI Tom includes the author’s journalistic work, some of which are published for the first time. A significant place in the book is occupied by the autobiographical narrative “Essays on my public life”, which reflects the direct participation of a famous historian and major public figure in the events of the late 1981-1991s. and his thoughts on the fate of Russia in the early 2000s.
