This book publishes 86 essays and articles of the Russian sculptor and philosophermeneutics Vladimir Zimmerling (1931-2017) on the problems of aesthetics, ethics and cultural history. The scientific apparatus of the publication includes comments on the sections, as well as accompanying articles on the philosophical concept and work of the author, the name and thematic pointers.

The concept of Vladimir Zimmerling can be characterized as a combination of the principle of empiricism with elements of hermeneutics and criticism of methasal concepts. The central place in his philosophical heritage is given to the foundations of ethics and aesthetics. He was also one of the pioneers of the analytical study of the poetics of Osip Mandelstam, his work "Memor" (1974-1975) contains interpretations of 10 difficult for the perception of poet’s poems, including the "griffle ode", "A blind swallow rushes to the legs"," I am a word I forgot what I wanted to say.
