The publication of the work on the work of Selma Ottilia Luvisa Laherlef (1858-1940) is dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the world"s first Nobel Prize in the world of literature (1909 G) This publication about the great Swedish writer is based on the materials of the conference, in which Russian and Swedish scientists and translators took part. In addition to the articles of literary critics and historians of both countries, offering new angles of consideration of Lagerleff"s work and modern research practices, the collection includes translations of works of small prose by S. Lagerlef. For the first time in Russian, the play "Images" and the afterword of the modern Swedish prose writer, playwright and scriptwriter feather of the Encvist catch are published.
