Screenshine: In Search of a New Language of Cinema

In 2015, a Hollywood film was released on the screens, which turned the ideas about how to make a movie: in the thriller “remove from friends” everything that the audience saw was the computer screen. The action of the film was unfolded on the desktop among folders and open tabs on the Internet, social networks and search engines. To transfer our lives to the cinema on the screens of devices - computers and smartphones - the director and producer Timur Bekmambetov invented, he also presented the name for the new film format - Screenshill. Since then, films in the new format raised tens of millions of dollars at the world box office and awards at the most prestigious film festivals - from Berlinal to Sandance.
