In the first book of the meeting of the works of an outstanding physicist, laureate of the Nobel Prize of Academician I.M. Frank, works of different years were placed on a thematic basis. Among them are the articles of 1931-1935. According to fluorescence and photochemical reactions, as well as articles on the optics of light sources moving in refracting environments, including work devoted to the theory of radiation of Vavilov-Cherenkov and the effect of a doppler in the refractive environment. A significant place is occupied by articles on the prediction and study of transitional radiation. The last section of the book completely reproduces the monograph by I. M. Frank "Radiation of Vavilov-Cherenkov. Theories "questions".
