Reference is an important part of science and scientific work, as it serves as an instrument of internal control of the quality of scientific research and publications. Despite the importance of this tool, there is hardly organized reviewing. This publication is an attempt to eliminate gaps in practical reviewing. The book contains not only the explanations of the essence, concepts and functions of reviewing in the broadest sense, but also its general principles, as well as examples of reviewing articles for scientific events in the computer sphere, many practical tips and recommendations are given. Many principles and recommendations are applicable in the review of articles for magazines and other scientific fields, including the review of applications for research projects or grants.
