Scientific foundations of industrial safety

The scientific basis of analysis, provision, regulation, supervision and increase in industrial safety is presented. The publication is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of education in Russia according to Peter I of two important state structures: Berg-College (1719) and the Academy of Sciences and Arts (1724), currently transformed into the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Atomic Supervision - Rostekhnadzor (RTN) and to the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS)
The staging of the general problems of the phased development of science, industry and supervision of industrial safety with the improvement of the appropriate approaches, structures, methods, norms, and rules is presented. The main attention is paid to the prolonged and effective mutualization of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Rostekhnadzor in the field of the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of integrated security, taking into account the fundamental laws of development of a complex socio-derivative and technogenic system.
The general theory of security, the theory of risks in the framework of the risk of oriented approaches, their legal, normative, criteria, organizational base are considered. Directions, programs and mechanisms of further improvement of state supervision of industrial safety were noted, taking into account the functioning of life support systems in the zones of acceptable risks.
The next volume of the series "Safety of Russia" is focused on the leaders and leading specialists of domestic science and industry involved in industrial safety problems, as well as the training, retraining and certification of personnel in the higher education and professional activity system
