This monograph is devoted to the study of the non -proper prose of Ossetians: legends, legends, oral stories, mythological stories about the sacred sphere of traditional Ossetian beliefs, descriptions of rites in comparison with the plots of the Ossetian fairy tale. In turn, a magical fairy tale is constantly related to the rites, which were reflected both in a fairy tale and in the non -proper prose of Ossetians. For all the complexity and multi -components of the studied phenomenon of the spiritual culture, including the ethnographic component of the religious beliefs of Ossetians, the main attention in the work is given primarily to the texts of stories.
Bibliography includes scientific research and articles, publications of folklore texts, handwritten sources from archival funds. In the applications, a plot-thematic pointer and texts of non-order prose of Ossetians about sacred images and symbols are given.
