The collective monograph is demonstrated as private events of Russian history, through the literature of the countries of the East and West, not only form the image of Russia in the world, but become the facts of world history. Different aspects of the Russian theme are raised: cultural stereotypes and literary cliches, Russian presence in the works of foreign authors, mentioning Russian names and realities, occasional borrowing of Russian words, reflection and quotes, reflection of topics, problems and plot-shaped system of Russian literature in foreign literature. The manifestations of the most direct, visible and evidence-based impact of Russian culture and Russian history on foreign authors in German, French, English, Spanish, Italian, Austrian, Polish, Georgian, Chinese, Korean and Brazilian literature of the XVI-XXI centuries are investigated
