The monograph presents the results of a study of metaphorical fragments of Russian terminosystems 10 scientific fields in the aspect of universality / uniqueness of semantic derivation models. A study based on the synthesis of methodological approaches (the theory of conceptual metaphor, cognitive terminating studies, database technologies) made it possible to establish the boundaries of metaphorical fragments of terminosystems, universal metaphorical models and framework structures, a set of lexical units, regularly involved in the processes of metaphorical terminal formation. The results of the study will be interesting to specialists working in the field of terminating and terminography, lexicology, metaphorology, linguoculturology, as well as graduate students and students.
