Alexander Dmitrievich Ivinsky - candidate of philological sciences, senior researcher at the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences, historian of Russian literature of the 18th century. Its monograph is devoted to those aspects of the cultural project of Catherine II, which significantly predetermined the direction of the development of Russian literature, ideology and partly science.
