In the training manual, the ideological, aesthetic, philosophical specificity of Russian emigrant literature of the twentieth century is revealed. The material was structured in three periods ("three waves of emigration"): the 1910-1920s, 1940s and late 1960s-1980s. The work of the most significant writers who are outside of Russia is shown in a wide historical and cultural context. Bibliographic information is included.
