A collective monograph is the first in the framework of a joint project of two art history departments of the historical faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov - Department of General History of Art and Department of History of Russian Art. The author’s team set itself the task of formulating and implementing new methods and techniques for studying domestic art. The material of the collective monograph is combined according to the chronological principle and is built from chapters, which are combined in three sections. The through theme connecting all the structural elements of the monograph are the phenomena of the design of the artistic language and the artistic method, as well as the creation of the image of a creative person.
The book is designed for specialists-artists, students studying in humanitarian higher educational institutions, and for all those interested in the history of Russian art
