The monograph is devoted to the finds of late -Hellenistic, Roman and provincial imported objects in the Sarmatian burials of the Northern Black Sea region of the 3rd century. BC e. - IV century. n. e. Import weapons, brooches, mirrors, buckles, metal and glass dishes, jewelry, amphoras and other categories of products are studied. The typology of finds and their dating in the archaeological context are offered, European parallels and analogues from the Sarmatian burials of Eurasia are given. Based on the study of imported products, the dynamics of their admission to the Sarmatians in the form of "waves" associated with certain historical events was reconstructed. A lot of space is given to critical analysis of existing points of view and polemic with opponents. The book is accompanied by a catalog of finds, richly illustrated by drawings, color and black and white photos and cards
