The manual summarizes the theoretical foundations of the development of social intelligence and leadership qualities of preschool children: the principle and approaches to the organization of educational activities in the conditions of a modern kindergarten, and the author’s model of development of social intelligence and the formation of leadership qualities are presented. On its basis, a program for the development of social intelligence of preschoolers is described, including the goals and objectives of individual and group development (targeted section), the content and features of planning educational activities in regime moments and in the process of joint activities with children (substantive section), a methodology for the development of social intelligence of preschool children is given and the formation of leadership qualities (organizational section)
A description of the methods of conducting game classes and workshops, examples of such classes and workshops on the development of social intelligence, as well as the methodology for conducting communicative trainings and workshops in the conditions of kindergarten, with detailed summaries of joint educational activities with children are of particular value. Separately, methodological recommendations on the organization of leadership workshops with senior preschoolers are presented and options for joint activities in the afternoon are described in the framework of the consolidation of leadership qualities and the formation of collective cultural practices.
