The proposed textbook outlines theoretical and practical issues of the educational discipline "Rhetoric". It reveals the categories and laws of rhetoric, it is said about the main stages of the rhetorical canon, the rhetorical aspects of public speaking and polemic skill are considered. Particular attention is paid to the formation of the speaker and the formation of the necessary oratory skills, the communicative side of the judicial debate, the characteristics of the prosecutor’s indictment and the defensive speech of the lawyer. Each section of the manual contains questions for students.
The textbook is fully consistent with the new standards of higher education in the direction of "jurisprudence" (qualification "bachelors") and prepared by the teaching staff of the Moscow State Medical University named after O. E. Kutafina, who developed the program of discipline "Rhetoric".
