Revolution Square: Ivan Filimonov Lighting

The album of the Moscow photographer Ivan Filimonov included a series of photographs "Square of the Revolution": modern poets captured at the sculptures of the metro station "Square of the Revolution". Each poet represents his own poem, some of which are translated into English. In parallel, there is a story about the creation of the station and the history of people related to it. The unification of the urban environment, figurative word and artistic visual image is perhaps the external task of this series. But the main thing is an occasion to think about the past and present of our country, about our personal place in history and about our attitude to the greatest event of the 20th century - the Great Russian Revolution, shaking the world and reflected in the fate of each of us
