The textbook is intended for students with intellectual disorders and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area "Language and speech practice".
The textbook presents works of oral folk art, artistic works of classics of Russian and Russian literature, as well as foreign writers. The studied texts are accompanied by a brief biography of the writer, questions and tasks aimed at understanding and mastering the material by schoolchildren. The methodological apparatus of the textbook is aimed at the formation of the reader"s activities of schoolchildren, to ensure a communicative approach to learning.
