The book of the famous Moscow writer, researcher of the era of Alexander I, a great connoisseur of the history of the Russian estate, is dedicated to the life and work of A.S. Pushkin.
In some articles, episodes of the poet’s personal and creative biography are considered, or to the recently escaped by researchers, or insufficiently illuminated.
The author deliberately addresses such unexplored issues - after all, Pushkin Studies as a scientific discipline is inexhaustible. Already by virtue of this, the construction of the book is mosaic. If the first articles are devoted to the childhood and youth of the great poet, then the subsequent examines such strange and unexpected at first glance topics as “Pushkin - Russian European”, “Pushkin is a business person” and others.
The book is designed for a wide range of readers who feed a deep interest in Russian history and culture
