She was the first book in Russia, entirely dedicated to this type of art. The role of this book for puppet theater studies is indicated by the fact that practically no more or less serious book about the theater of dolls of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, without a clear or veiled quote from the work of V.N.
