The monograph is devoted to the analysis of the professional and pedagogical activity of the teacher of the preschool educational organization in the aspect of his knowledge of preschool child. Conceptual ideas about this activity are described, including structural-functional models of both the very activity of the child’s knowledge and activities to analyze its process and results in order to evaluate its effectiveness. In accordance with the model of activity on the knowledge of the child, a system of professional training of future educators for its development in the learning process at the university is proposed, partially experimentally tested.
