The collection was compiled based on the materials of the MPNMO circle, which was held in 2015–12017 for schoolchildren of grades 8–9. The tasks are grouped in classes, and classes - on topics. The sequence of classes is arranged so that the collection is learning. Most new terms and methods are introduced through tasks. At the end of the collection, answers and instructions to the decision, as well as an alphabetical reference book, are given. The reference book includes explanations of many terms, formulas and methods with examples, sometimes - with evidence. It is assumed that the reader has basic knowledge of the theory of probabilities, at least in the volume of a school textbook of grades 7–8.
The collection is intended for motivated schoolchildren who are interested in students, as well as for the leaders of circles on the theory of probabilities. It can be used to prepare for the Olympiads on the theory of probability and statistics
