Probability theory and mathematical statistics. A textbook for vocational education

The textbook consists of two sections: "Theory of probabilities", "mathematical statistics". The first section discusses the topics: algebra of events, random values, characteristics and laws of distribution of discrete and continuous random values. The second section discusses the topics: forms of representing statistical material, point and interval assessment, checking statistical hypotheses, elements of correlation and regression analysis.
Designed to study the discipline "Theory of probabilities and mathematical statistics" according to the enlarged groups of specialties of secondary vocational education "Informatics and computing technology" and "Economics and Management". It can be used in additional professional education (in advanced training and retraining programs), as well as for the professional training of workers in various fields in the presence of secondary (complete) general education
