The purpose of the teaching aid is to form a circle of basic concepts included in the topic of preschool education, to overview of the existing features of work with preschool children for future workers in this sphere of education. The history of the development of preschool pedagogy abroad and in our country is described in detail, the child’s development calendar is given, the specifics of working with children with developmental deviations are considered, recommendations on the organization in the framework of the work of various events are given, and attention is also paid to the quality control of preschool education.
