The monograph "Politics and Literary Tradition" is the first large-scale study of the Russian-Georgian literary relations of the post-Soviet period. The author analyzed the development of the literary process through the prism of changing the political context, starting from the doimpersky period, continuing the Soviet and post-Soviet period, and introduced the concept of "imperial literary tradition", which means not only regular appeal in fiction, but also in translation and scientific research.
