The manual is intended for independent training of students for seminars and laboratory work in the study of the physical bloc of the discipline "Physics, Mathematics". In the traditions of the Department of Medical Physics of SPbGPMU, the mathematical block of this discipline - elements of the theory of probability and mathematical statistics - is studied by the first, and the physical one. But the manual "physics. The workshop "is written so that the physical and mathematical blocks can be studied in any sequence.
The main feature of the manual is seen by the author in the volume and priority of the material. On each topic, the volume of the material is quite large and its presentation is such that a student with weak basic preparation in physics will, despite this, gain the necessary "subsistence minimum", and an advanced student may not be limited to this.
Control questions are given for each section. In some sections there are questions for advanced students
