Physical Culture. Textbook for students of secondary professional educational institutions

The textbook was developed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Professional Education and a standard program of discipline "Physical culture.
The textbook consists of four sections. The first is devoted to the disclosure of the basic concepts of the theory of physical culture, the identification of the significance of physical culture in modern society, its connection with the formation of a healthy lifestyle. The second discusses traditional and new physical and health systems. The third section reveals the issues of training students for competitive activities, the technique and tactics of individual physical exercises and popular sports. The fourth includes the basics of self -defense, a description of the methods of movement and overcoming obstacles, as well as the use of insurance during exercises.
The textbook is intended for students of secondary vocational education.
