The richly illustrated album will introduce the French period of life and the work of the famous PROSTIMPression artist Gauguin.
The book is dedicated to the work of the French painter, one of the bright and original representatives of post -impressionism, the fields of Gauguin on French land (A richly illustrated story about his work in exotic countries is presented in a book entitled "Paul Gauguin. Tahiti") Gauguin was born in Paris. His father was a modest journalist. In 1849, the family moved to the distant South American country of Peru to distant, but rich and noble relatives. Perhaps children"s impressions of the original Peruvian nature and life were of essential in the formation of the individual manner of the artist. In 1855, the Gauguin family returns to France, since 1860, Paul has been living in Paris. From 1865 to 1871, the young Gauguin walks a sailor on a ship that makes flights between Gavr and Rio de Janeiro. Since 1971, Paul Gauguin has a life of a small bourgeois, working as a Macler on the exchange. And since that time he no longer parted with paints, takes painting lessons, creates the first works. In 1876, Gauguin"s landscape was exhibited in the salon. At the same time, Gauguin gets closer to the impressionists, often works in nature with Camille Pissarro. He is a participant in their last four exhibitions
