The training manual discusses issues regarding the protection of a person from non -ionizing electromagnetic radiation. Sources of natural and technogenic electromagnetic fields are described. The general principles and methods of human protection from non -ionizing electromagnetic radiation are indicated, as well as methods and means of protection from each type of non -ionizing electromagnetic radiation separately. The maximum permissible levels of parameters of electromagnetic fields are given, which guarantee human safety and ensure favorable conditions for his vital activity. Measuring instruments are recommended to control the parameters of electromagnetic fields in the environment.
