The book considers the problem of transgumanism as a constant element of cultural and philosophical anthropology of European and Russian culture. Transgumanism is investigated in religious (the disastrous self -enforcement of Dostoevsky’s heroes, implicitly opposed by Christian worship, or theosis) and the mythological (poet as a cultural hero in the poetry of the Silver Age) interpretations.
