The book is a transcript of the report "My work on the role of" Nikolai Fedorovich Monakhov (1875-1936), an outstanding Soviet theater and film actor. He talks about what he had to overcome on his way to the top of skill. This story is interesting and useful in that it reflected the individuality of Monakhov as a true scene artist.
