The roots do not discard the shadows. It is obvious. That is why the branches of the genealogy tree have no reflections ... In 1997, the editor -in -chief of one Russian illustrated magazine asked the author to write an essay about his genealogy. The essay was published in 1998 and eventually spilled into a book, completed only now, because within twenty years it constantly ordered and was supplemented on the basis of newly discovered facts and documents.
On the one hand, the author avoided all kinds of speculations and the so -called “family traditions” (which, as it turned out, is not always correct), on the other hand, he discovered interpenetration for centuries and spaces of the German and Slavic worlds, which is shown on the example of birth GILLEMENDT Von Prandau, Guildprandt von UN Tsu Podnegauzen, von Aikstedt, Rzhichansky, von Garnes, etc. In addition, the book reports completely new information for the Russian -speaking reader on representatives of the famous German names Melanchton, Goethe, Lindgamer, Viland ... Strictly documentary study, supported copies of documents stored by the author
