This textbook is based on many years of experience in teaching the subject "Musical Literature" in the Children"s School, set out in copyright programs and methodological recommendations of E. Kuklinskaya, etc., since the main tasks of the course of musical Literature is the formation of love in children and interest in serious musical art, understanding the basics of musical creativity, the development of their musical abilities, the purpose of the manual of the first year of training is to introduce children into the diverse world of musical concepts and knowledge. Separate classes are devoted to Russian folk musical culture - genre varieties of Russian songs and their use in professional music.
