The monograph considers the specifics of the motivation for obtaining higher education in comparison with other types of motivation. The importance of studying students" motivation to obtain education to increase the effectiveness of the educational process and ensure the country"s economy with qualified personnel is substantiated. Much attention is paid to the review of recent studies that reflect the trends of changes in the motivation for obtaining higher education.
