The book discusses the features of artistic life in one of the most important periods of the development of Soviet fine art, covering 1932-1962, through the prism of the thirty-year history of the Moscow Union of Artists (MOSH) The internal arrangement of artistic forces after the unification of various art groups into a single union is shown.
