The book describes about 100 objects of the most unified era of Soviet architecture. This is the first guide to Moscow, which considers as a holistic phenomenon the architecture of the thirtieth birthday from Khrushchev to Gorbachev - from naive modernism thaw to postmodernism, including the Palace of Pioneers, the Ostankino TV tower, the cinema "Russia", the TASS building, the Golden Brands of the Academy of Sciences, and less less Famous projects, for example, "House of New Life" or AZLK Museum. The authors propose to see these ambiguous structures in a wide historical, cultural and political context, as well as against the background of world architecture of the second half of the 20th century.
