Comedy Alexander Sergeyevich Griboedov (1795-1829) "Woe from Wit" is an ever -living masterpiece of Russian classics. She became an inexhaustible source of aphorisms and proverbs, and her heroes became collective images, a mirror in which we look and see ourselves. During the life of the writer, the play was not published completely due to censorship, but it dispersed widely in manuscript lists. Each new generation of readers finds in this outwardly uncomplicated story the meanings relevant to its time.
