The Soviet thinker Mikhail Lifshits is known as a critic of vulgar Marxism and as the creator of the Restauratio Magna program - the return of the ideal principle, classical culture to the modern world. In contrast to the romantic criticism of capitalism (M. Hidegger, G. Zedlmair), lifshits finds support not in modern mythology, but in the matter itself, in its inherent ideal potentials, not in the crowd covered by the “cholera riot”, but in the revolutionary people. The main task of the era, according to Lifshitsa, is to unite the productive population against the forces of the unproductive, which abandon humanity into the abyss of new barbarism, exciting a false protest (from fascism to avant -garde art)
In the appendix, new materials from the vast archive of the lifchitz, including a significant fragment dedicated to the Kantian “criticism of pure mind”, will be published for the first time
