This publication was prepared for the exhibition "Mikhail Larionov" and represents the work of one of the brightest artists of the Russian avant -garde at the beginning of the 20th century.
The catalog contains articles about various aspects of the work of M.F. Larionova - painting, graphics, theater in the Russian and French periods, its activities are considered as a curator of exhibitions and organizer of art associations. A special section is dedicated to the collection of Larionov. He introduces a unique meeting: photographs on the history of ballet, Russian and oriental bows, a library. The catalog is complemented by the review of the archive of Larionov and the publication of individual documents from it, as well as a chronicle, which gives the most important events: exhibitions, performances, work on publications, meetings with artists. The album includes works from Russian and foreign museum and private collections, rare archival photographs.
