Microwave devices and antennas: Design, construction, examples of microwave device applications. Part 1

The first part of this textbook discusses the methods of designing and constructive implementation of the microwave devices: the transfer lines of various types, resonators, filters, phasor-breeders, attenuers, trigeminal joints, directed branches, various bridge joints, ferrite devices (valves, circulators, phasor-extensions) and microwave devices and microwave devices) and microwave devices) On semiconductor diodes. Examples of the use of microwave devices in radio communications, radar, in measuring equipment, etc. are given.
In the second part, the main sections of the theory and technology of antennas are considered. The issues of calculating and constructing various types of antennas (from vibrator to shutter and antenna gratings, including phased) are highlighted. The main attention is paid to the antennas of the microwave and the calculations of their electromagnetic fields in the near zone, which is very important in solving the problems of electromagnetic compatibility.
The book included the original material received by the authors. In particular, the method of physical regulatory (self -confined method) of the calculations of the electromagnetic field of antennas is described, which allows a continuous transition from the radiating surface of the antenna to the space outside it.
