The publication is based on a master"s special course, held by the author at the Department of History and Theory of Christian Art of the Faculty of Church Arts of the PSTU, as well as many years of research of medieval church architecture of Serbia. Previously, a monograph was published on the border of the East and West: medieval architecture of Serbia, Dalmatia and Istria "(M.: PSTU, 2015), about 25 articles on this topic (2007-2016) An important role in the preparation of the teaching manual was played by the most valuable material for the discs of the “Frescoes of Serbia, Macedonia and Kosovo "and the West and East of medieval Europe: Christian architecture and monumental art from a series of disks" icon painter on this issue of the history of architecture history. . The publication of a textbook will make an idea of the dynamics of the development of medieval church architecture of Serbia.
