Medical and biological foundations of security. Textbook

The textbook discusses threats and risks for the life and health of people in a post -industrial society. From the standpoint of the interdisciplinary approach, the role and place of medical and biological technologies in the system of ensuring the safety of the population of the Russian Federation are shown.

The specificity and mechanism of toxic effects on a person of harmful substances, energy impact and the combined action of the main damaging factors of sources of emergency situations of peacetime and wartime are shown.
